    Was going to mentioned this but you got to it first. I think our chocobo should have a base stats scaling off our level, then boost accordingly to our ilvl. Or just increase the enmity and defense in tank stance by a crazy amount. Right now attacking and healing stance aren't great, but at least they are decent. Defense stance is just downright useless.

    For healing stance I hope SE can just increase the duration of choco surge to a crazy amount so it doesn't keep spamming surge instead of heals. Something like 30 or 60 sec duration with 1 or 2 min cd. Just adjust the healing potency gain accordingly to maintain the balance. Also can we please get the ability to manually place chocobo like SMN/SCH pet please?

    Lastly, chocobo LB please? >_<

    Chocobos in general should really have a rework. They were a massive boon in ARR- their stats were much closer to our own. However, since Heavensward, and even more so now in Stormblood, the gap between us and them is widening, making our companions less and less useful. NPCs in MSQ are more useful in healing, dealing damage, and holding enmity than our companions, and you don't need to invest absurd amounts of EXP, onions or plants to get food buffs.

    So while having the timer is a nice touch, it'd be great to see some care go back into them again (like stat/growth adjustment).

    There's a companion action you can bind to a hotbar "return" or something like that, that dismisses them, in town or not. I have it on a side hotbar JUST for this reason.

    Yes, this is also a good idea, retainers and chocobo. So that they can help with non-dungeon fights like FATEs, since squadron members will be utilised in dungeons by 4.1 if I'm not mistaken.

    Let's add some mounted combat on that choco. Bow, Spear, Slingshot, Shield
    Unlockable traversal skills for that chocobo. Jumping, Swimming, Flying, Digging, &climbing specialty maneuvers
    Let's add Squadron/retainers useful in the open world.
    Give us a few story arcs/quest based around fostering a bond and empowering our companions.(Artifact Quest for npcs)
    Add some emotes for interacting with companions.
    Give humanoid companions some banter, voiced or quest bubble.
    Color-able highlights, beaks, feet on that choco.
