    Suggestion for Companion Chocobo for 4.1

    Ok, so they've said we'll get a visual timer for chocobo on how much time remains for them to be out, that's great, but it doesn't help as much as it could.

    I'm suggesting that we be able to feed our chocobo an additional Gysahl Green, similar to how we can have a food buff last for an hour, to let our chocobo be out for an hour. Half an hour passes by pretty quickly, and allowing us to feed them an additional green to extend the time up to a maximum of an hour would help us not be backed into a corner during fates we get caught up in/chocobo unsummoning during daily activities/hunts where we need the assistance.

    I'd appreciate if they made them take reduced damage from all forms of AoE damage and made the healer chocobo AI prefer staying at max range.

    I'm sure you're not the only one who'd appreciate it, but since they have said nothing about either of those things, I'm only focusing on what they said was going to be added and trying to add to that.

    This would be great over all, but for me it wouldn't matter much since I send my bo away before the timer runs out quite frequently. Thanks to Naruto, I created a macro that summons my berd saying, "Katon! Kuchiyose-no-Jutsu!" and I use him similar to how summons are used in that anime, sometimes even sending him away mid-fight like he's some kind of boss that comes in and wrecks crap for a few, or heals me up then takes off ;p

    I also had a big problem with always forgetting to send him away, and having to teleport outside somewhere and teleport back just so I can stable him, or summon a minion. That's something I really wish they would fix.

    In 4.1 you can have the chocobo and a minion out at the same time.

    i want something like this for a loong while now.

    a general buff to the tank-chocobo would be nice, more enmity generation especially. and the fact that your chocobo disappears when the 30 mins are over and his enmity drops to 0 is another huge issue with the tank chocobo.

    The main issues that would fix that are spending time in the garden. There's chocobo food that increased their stances, but you can only focus on one at a time

    If you give them the food long enough, it'll become their favorite, further boosting the buffs from the food.

    i have tried that, but the chocobo still had no chance to hold enmity against me. the problem is that the chocobo scales only with my level, not with my gear. so even when he can hold enmity against me at lvl 65 or 70 when i am wearing ilvl 290 gear, he has no chance when i am wearing ilvl 330 gear. and it only gets worse.

    i would say the chocobo should scale with the gear, like the egis from summoner, but even then we need an enmity boost for the tank chocobo. even IF the chocobo can hold enmity with the enmity buffood - why does the tank chocobo need a buffood to fulfill it's core function, when the DD and healer chocobo don't? he should at least be able to hold enmity against a dpsing-healer without any sort of extra buff!

    I'm with Tint! I raised my Bo to be a tank to help me, but I really wish I just opted for him to DPS since he can't hold enmity half the time. Poor bird practically spams it's emnity building skills, too!
