SE please read this comment "ALT problem on top100 feast"

These type of issues seem to have been part of PvP since it's creation. Botting, speed or teleporting 'hacks', using alternate characters from the same account to dominate the rankings, win-trading, use of third party programs to gain advantages where others wouldn't such as using voice-communications in a 4vs4 randomly matched game or programs that alert them to things they wouldn't naturally be aware of (e.g DPS uses X ability from the other side of the arena, the tank may not normally be aware they're about to try and burst if they're so far away, but when you have a program that can alert you the second it's about to come up...)

It's not likely to change, either. There isn't any way they can stop people from using third party programs, hacks, etc, there's always going to be people who will find a way around it. Honestly I think a more likely scenario is that they delete ranked Feast; I honestly believe they'd choose doing that over putting things in place that can effectively and efficiently stop players from 'cheating'

Addendum: it's funny to see the Feast advertised so often by the FFXIV team on social media as if it's true, meaningful content in its own right, and not just an extra for when one is bored of PvE. I wonder how many times they've had to fight against people utilising these programs
