Since DQX is getting released on new platforms, I could see that event re-running in the future, particularly if a western release ever occurs.

For the FFXI events, I'd say the most likely time they would rerun those is whenever FFXI mobile actually releases. :-/

Bring back Shantotto and Iroha, and add new stories for them. Iroha's still got more to offer Eorzea, especially.

Yo-kai Watch event is now here again. I hope the other ones too. As I already said, in the sale way Lightning Strikes was up 3 times, the others should too. Is the fair thing.

Lightning event: 3/3
Shantotto event: 2/3
Dragon Quest event: 2/3
Iroha event: 1/3
Yo-kai Watch event: 2/3

Yokai is different, Square Enix does not own the rights to the items so they cannot throw them on the mogstation to sell. Also the CEO of the Yokai stuff is a good friend with Yoshi and requested him bring it back as he did not complete the event last time around.

I don't think they will, kind of the FFXI event. Once in a life time and even now I haven't seen the gear offered in the mog station. Hence special event. To be honest it would be a big slap in the face to those of us who actually have been loyal to SE.

I wouldn't care at all if they did the event again.
Sure, some people care deeply if others have a chance at also getting "their *special* items."
But many people really don't care.

One ( /em air quotes ) loyal follower of SE point of view, Should we give everyone else legacy items while we are at it? Should we back track the story line and repeat v1.0 as well for those who missed it and put down the game before? I've been on since beta so yeah to me it would be considered a slap in the face. It's already bad enough SE is making the game easier do to people complaining is too hard. ( /em Plays the worlds smallest violin ) Now if they incorporated it for some collaboration example Dissida NT that will come out soon as a type of event to get some items that would make more sense. I personally would love to relive 1.0, but who knows maybe they will do something like FFXI in terms of traveling to the past. I can only hope :P You have a valid point many players could care less, however for those of us that value the game more than others, dedicate some time to relax and enjoy it, it can be a bit insulting. I'm glad your one of those who don't care and your opinion is always welcome, just don't mock what other serious players think. Instead come up with a solution.

Loyalty rewards only matter when they've been established as such. Events like these were never done like that. In that light too, it's not exactly an unheard idea that they bring back the same rewards for a loyalty program in general lol. I'd argue that any mockery being made is not so much at the fact someone may feel betrayed, but rather the reasons they feel betrayed. Thus, it's fine to feel like these things were part of a loyalty program, but the fact is they never were.

If it never comes about, then good on them for being able to continue feeling special, but that was just a situation of circumstance, not a set plan (i.e. it was never an official loyalty reward). Things like the legacy rewards, such as the discounted rates, legacy chocobo, tattoo, old gear and Goobbue mount (if you're using the same character, which I'm unfortunately not), are actual officially recognized loyalty rewards.

Listen 'ere lass, nobody's askin fer anythin' from yer vaunted legacy. Speakin' o' tangents, nobody said anythin' about tha game's difficulty either. Unless ya think that Shattoto FATE was bracin' fer Extreme mode.

I've done both XI events too an' would like ta see a return as well. Guess that's one more """loyal fan""" who's not got their head up their arse.

Who benefits from a hold on cosmetics? I got alts. I got people askin' where ya get stuff an' have ta tell 'em they're up shite creek. Why? What's the game get fer not bringin' 'em back? It's not about loyalty as ye twisted somewhere in that textual diarrhea. The events 're about marketin' an' subscription bait. So yeah, as Dark-Saviour said, we probably won't get 'em again 'less mobile XI needs some advertisin'.
