nvidia with optimus

does anyone know if the new nvidia cards with optimus can run XIV or is that something that would only be able to be done once the new client comes out next year?

it wont use what optimus but it will work

ffxiv doesn't run well with optimus. You have to disable aero which removes the vsync.

Thanks for clearing that up. I know they are making changes so a broader range of PCs can play it. I just wonder why they didn't do it in the first place.

The tool they used did not allow them that why they making a new one.

I think any laptop that can play FFXIV now with good setting or play the game at all could play the game later on without issue when 2.0 come out.
