My first check for comms is to look for people who don't look like hoes, I'm not commending some 14 year old kid who gets off of his own character.

The second is if they stood out in a particular way and if not, I usually check for sprouts.

If no-one is one, I look for the coolest glamour.

Why would I feel bad for giving credit where it's due?

Regardless of what role I'm on, if the mobs are dead before Blood Price, Bhavacakra or Largese is active a second time, then my comm goes to the DPS. The only issue I usually have is determining which DPS to give it to.

    Mine is sometimes personal, too.

As a NIN/SAM, I usually would comm those players who are playing those jobs as well.

My comms go to the player who made a good impression, I pay attention to my team and will notice players going the extra mile. No class deserves comms over another, I gravitate towards giving it to DPS because tanks and healers generally get plenty, but only if they do well enough (and my standards in DF are quite low)

Played a NIN for over two years, so I almost always give them a comm. On the flip side I can tell when a NIN is phoning it in.

I comm DPS if they're really good. Using all their abilities, not slacking off, etc... nothing wrong with giving them a little acknowledgement. Especially if they're a sproutling. Generally avoid comming potatoes and people in stripper glams though- just personal preference. I'm sure I've missed more than a few because I play a male cat.

Don't mind him, he's just super salty that he has to look like that all the time and we get to be adorable all the time! ^_^

My default comms go to DPS unless tank or healer stand out above average.

Oh, no, I've never found myself feeling bad for commendating a DPS. They really stand out when they do. But sometimes I'm guilty of only paying attention if the DPS has some interaction with me, for instance a BRD or MCH using their buffs and cds to benefit the group or any other member. They are more noticeable.

It's that an actual crystal ball? You are truly the warrior of light, the crystal bearer.
