COMPLETELY AGREE!!!If they do a crossover for NieR: Automata they should go all out. Weapons for every job as well.
PLD: Virtuous Contract or Cruel Oath (not sure about shield)
DRK: Beastlord
WAR: Machine Axe or Fang of the Twins
SAM: Virtuous Contract or Cruel Oath
MNK: Emil's heads or Machine Heads or Type-3 Fists (really any of the fists are super good)
DRG: Virtuous Dignity or Cruel Arrogance
NIN: Phoenix Daggers or Beastbane or Ancient Overlord
MCH, BLM, RDM, SMN, WHM, AST, SCH I'm not entirely sure what they could do.
They have it easy for SAM (My main class) :P

AST weapon would have to be a pod though.

That would be....amazing.
I can already see it and I want it.
Just gotta hope not everyone is running around as 2B or 9S with Pod minions.

While my glam looks similar to 2B i cannot use it on jobs other then Bard or machinist, i would also love an event

NieR takes place many years after the true ending of Drakengard 1 (Ending E)Well, Nier is a follow up to a Drakengard ending where some of the characters travelled through a dimensional rift.
I could see Pascal and/or resistance androids investigating and stumbling through a rift opened by hostile machines. The Eorzeans mistake them for rogue mammets or something, you do various special FATEs where you thwart them, you get special rewards from their world in exchange.
E: I also recall "old-world magic" being mentioned a few times in Nier:Automata.
For reasons I won't list due to massive spoilers, there's ways it could work. Besides, the concept of other worlds/dimensions is very real in XIV. Or perhaps a study of Earth's past led the Machine Network to try to recreate Eorzea (mistaking it for a real place).I can see glamour working, but I can't see actual characters from the game they represent ever appearing FFXIV (since Hydaelyn is clearly not planet Earth). Gotta respect the lore for both games and there is no realistic way (even in a Fantasy game) to have characters from planet Earth wind up on a completely different planet completely unrelated to NieR:Automata (a world technically without magic).
Trust me, there's ways it could work.

Drakengard is a world where magic and dragons aren't exactly strange and the only way they even travelled through that 'rift' was because of Queen Grotesquerie (unsure how, but that's what happens. Seere probably 'helped'). They wind up on the 'real' planet Earth, a world that is pretty much like ours (no magic and dragons and all that fantasy stuff) and even after defeating the Queen, they die (shot down by the army or something) and because the Queen is on Earth, a world devoid of 'magical medicine,' they inadvertently cause the apocalypse.
Skip a few thousand or something years later and we have NieR. Skip a few more thousand years later and we have Automata... which is still new, so I can't say much on that due to spoilers.
There's only one 'person' in Automata who can use magic.
Here be some big ol' spoilers if you know exactly who I'm talking about
And he dies at the end of his quest, which also signals the end of his story. Yoshi-P has said back in 2013 that if a character has died OR has reached the end of their story,
they can never appear in FFXIV.
I just can't see it working. I'm not against glamour appearing in this game (as that's just clothing and weapons), but actual characters like 2B, A2 and 9S... it's impossible to me (especially if they don't enter Eorzea as a side-quest in Automata). For reasons I won't list due to massive spoilers, there's ways it could work. Besides, the concept of other worlds/dimensions is very real in XIV. Or perhaps a study of Earth's past led the Machine Network to try to recreate Eorzea (mistaking it for a real place).
Trust me, there's ways it could work.

Yokai Watch takes place in Japan so I don't think the devs really care about respecting as much as they like to bring that word up.

That actually still annoys me, but at least it's just YoKai (demons or whatever), so... it kinda vaguely works? No humans from the world they're from appear in that event, right? (I've not even talked to the NPC to start it, because I think it's a garbage event. Atma farming with no pay off in the end. Woo)
After starting the quest (and swiftly abandoning it after talking to the executive), it seems the Yokai from YoKai Watch are a part of FFXIV's world in some shape or form (unless there's more to the quest, but I just don't feel like going that deep into that event).
