That's only their king. It's like in FFXIV v1.0 male miqo'te were nowhere to be played because they're supposed to stay home and mostly a minority.

But then how will you wear any gear? I can't see a Kojin wearing Lost Allagan gear, for instance. Storywise, Beast tribes would only be allowed to enter Limsa (MAYBE Rhalgr's Reach), because they're usually forbidden from the city states. And finally, ALL members of a beast tribe are identical. There's no difference between males and females at all. People want to play them for more diversity, but doing so will ironically give them a severe lack of options.

Well normally I would approve of threads asking for more races but sadly I dont agree with the idea of a fairy race. Not only do we already have the fairies ingame thus making a race with the same name but different features really strange but like others have pointed out, they are mostly bound to soulstones..could you imagine playing a scholar fairy and binding one of your fellas in a stone so that it will do whatever you want to do? (Okay I mean some would probably enjoy that very much :'D)

Also they are just another human race with some parts attached to it, cute and they have wings. The last one would probably be a big reason for no implementation. I mean the race should be able to fly but who knows if SE really would do something like that. I mean if people could fly without mounts a lot of dungeons and trials would be cheated. Or they would need to code them, that people would not be able to fly within those with their own wings..but then one would question why a character can suddenly not fly anymore. So you would have a fairy that would have to walk through most content which would just make her a human with glued on wings. I am going to be honest, before I want something like that in the game, I would wish for a more beasty race.

Short version: Lore and the game itself would probably not allow a fairy who could also fly.

Just give us a glamour costume and maybe some wings as a mount and you could pretend to be one.
