O_o id prob pay 50 dollars not to do that. 100 is where I start to consider but prob opt not getting it at all because not dyable anyway.
Just split the jobs... give SMN a flute or something..Still say this is was a mistake. They introduced branching jobs and then seemed to regret it and try to steer away from it.
Should have embraced it and, aside from artifact/relic gear, just made the restriction on "Arcanist" for either. Hell, give the books hybrid Healing/DPS stats (or just merge Mind and Int since they're wonky now anyway) if you're that worried about someone using the 'wrong' gear to queue up.

Honestly, throw them all away and start over if we're aiming to do things right.
But other than that, I'd rather see them embrace the split job concept and apply it to more classes rather than just trying to hide from it and delete classes entirely. :-/
No, they aren't lazy with events (>_<)
Personally, more than saying that it's a "waste of resources", I'll rather say that it simply isn't a big deal. This is an NPC outfit, and this NPC happened to be a female. When they released Aymeric or Cid outfits, they didn't need to create a female counterpart. They just released the clothes as they were: outfits from certain male NPCs. That time it was male, this time it's female, and the day they release, say, Hien, it'll be male again. It's not any sort of conspiracy, it's not about laziness, and by no means is it a big tragedy, as there is no shortage of sets to wear ingame.
I don't know how people can ever be happy, if they get easily and deeply offended at every minute thing that happens @_@;
They didn't need to make the Ayemeric hair gender neutral, even though none of the other NPC hairs are. Why do you think they did?No, they aren't lazy with events (>_<)

Because they guessed that it was a cute hair for females and thus many females might want to buy it. More power to them? I know people want to see some sort of injustice there, but I can't share that view.
I guess it will be not possible because dyes will be likely restricted to metallic ones, and it will cause rage because "cash shop item for dye a cash shop item omg" that will happens after.
And, a non-metallic dye, I guess it is likely to make the outfit not so great lookin as it is now. My 2c.
They're rare and a pain in the neck to get in-game, but the metallic dyes are not cash-shop exclusive.
Because you don't want to share it. SE can't do any wrong. Even when it's right in your face.
Not surprised its Female Only, that was a forgone conclusion when Aymeric's outfit was put up as male only even though there is NO REASON a female character couldn't wear that.
