I knew it was going straight to the cash shop, but I still wish there were some way to acquire it in-game like 300 potsherds to purchase it from the vendor.

O_o id prob pay 50 dollars not to do that. 100 is where I start to consider but prob opt not getting it at all because not dyable anyway.

Still say this is was a mistake. They introduced branching jobs and then seemed to regret it and try to steer away from it.
Should have embraced it and, aside from artifact/relic gear, just made the restriction on "Arcanist" for either. Hell, give the books hybrid Healing/DPS stats (or just merge Mind and Int since they're wonky now anyway) if you're that worried about someone using the 'wrong' gear to queue up.

Just split the jobs... give SMN a flute or something..
