



Because content needs to be developed, it doesn't just magically appear. Also 4.0 - 4.1 is a 3.5 month long period, just like any other patch, not 4-5months.


Adding another roulette and throwing 6 raids into it is not 'content'.
3.5 months from June 20th is October 5th, we'll see what date they'll announce tomorrow, but I think that's too early for first patch.



Roulette for pre-existing content doesn't take time to develop. It just takes a bit of code, most of which has already been written for the other roulettes.
When they add this, hopefully, it will award us Creation Tomes or whatever the most current currency is.
Unless you've an inside understanding on FFXIV's programming architecture, its pretty assumptive to think its a minor coding session. That's also completely ignoring time for play testing and ensuring the content is not bugged by any number of variables.
So, yeah, it doesnt just happen.
