I'm sorry but I feel like the people calling for this nerf are either very poor players who are unwilling to learn or they have psyched themselves out because of stories they've heard and poor experiences they've had.

I always do Trial Roulette on a 70 for the tomestones and complete my roulettes almost daily. I get RM every 2-3 days, more frequently closer to release. I have disbanded this fight maybe 2 or 3 times out of the dozens that I've done and I don't remember ever having a group without new players.

My only common denominator here is me. I am going to be secure enough in my midcore-ness to say that that I am not good enough to carry entire parties on this fight. The fact is while these fights have benefitted from having at least one healer comfortable with the encounter that can not save them from the overwhelming difficulty you guys are saying you experience.

I understand my anecdotal evidence does not trump yours in the court of public opinion but I want to encourage you to try this fight with an open mind if you're having trouble with it. I have seen all kinds of subpar players clear this; DRG's without heavy thrust, BLM's still using their transpose rotation, AST's without a stance on for the whole fight and even a PLD who started with broken gear that I posted about in the Tales from the Duty Finder thread. You guys who are on the forums and care enough to talk about this almost definitely trump these sorts of hyper-casuals.

Trust me this is 100% completable with only 3 members of a party playing decently. It sucks for those few people but it does proove that this doesn't need any sort of nerf.
