Essentially, you are advocating the game be rendered so easy, you scarcely have to know what you're doing to still be successful. I learned how to play Dragoon in a single day. Not optimally, of course, but I had a solid foundation. If you split that across say, 4-7 days for someone with less time. Is it such a tall order you needs spend a week to learn how to play your job properly? This game is already braindead easy in numerous ways. Frankly, I firmly believe that is why Duty Finder is so bad. There is no gradual scale for people to properly progress. You go from easy to hard in a single leap. Shinryu is no more challenging than Sephiroth, Jecht, Seymour, Kefka or any other slew of single player Final Fantasy bosses, provided you don't powerlevel and curb stomp them. Should they be made easy because some people can't be bothered to put in a little effort? I suppose said effort is asking too much. They have lives, after all.
And? The world cannot bend over backwards on the minute chance someone, somewhere, has a disability that make cause progression in a video game to be more challenging. In fact, the majority of people I know with complications, whatever they may be, despise feeling catered to. Regardless, there is an equally considerable amount of players who don't struggle. Too bad for them right? They only get Savage, especially now that EX primals have seen a massive reduction in difficulty since Sephirot. People still struggling with Menagerie now simply aren't paying attention. There are numerous guides available and it's entirely possible to four-man Menagerie. But no. There is a considerable part of the player base who MASSIVELY struggles with Menagerie, and that is even without disabilities or health issues or latency coming into play, that make some players UNABLE to ever beat something of that difficulty, period. And telling people to wait until they get better gear, which is difficult to get if you don't finish MSQ, also not okay.
They can, by improving as players and accepting the final boss of the expansion won't hold their hand. As previously noted, plenty of single player games have harder bosses than Shinryu. If DF isn't enough, toss up a PF and ask for help. Thordan was a complete letdown for numerous players because despite the spectacle, he was such a cakewalk, no one cared. Tank not using CDs? Oh well, he hardly tickles. People need to actually learn and stop expecting they can faceroll through everything because, otherwise, where does it end?People who play FFXIV only casually (the majority, and that.is.okay) also deserve to enjoy the MSQ instead of having this massive source of stress and frustration at the end of the story line.
