    Blood gauge's interaction with defensiveness is granting mp which can then be used to fuel DA and BN. Just be glad your gauge isn't 100% defensive like PLD.

    in aoe situations okay. with blood price > delirium > quietus > dark arts + abyssal drain i actually have a defensive tool with the self heal (but it's easy to mess up and the button bloat is real, since we could do that with blood price > dark arts + abyssal drain alone in HW).

    quietus is useless in single target sitations, so i have delirium, with a 2 mins cooldown, wich grants me a little mana and extended blood price or blood weapon. blood price is useless in single target, so i would have to drop grit and use blood weapon. sounds not very defensive to me.
