People often talk about what they don't know or don't understand. trading 25k crits for 24500 ones is not a DPS loss as it will be compensated somewhere else. Critical hit is, as said before, as easy as other stats to be averaged. Because you cannot anticipate what will be your exact critical hits over a 2 min session, you can average it over an infinite number of rolls and that's where you will see the true benefits.

However, if the weapon is less of an ilvl bump for you because you already have a 320 weapon and only 310 armor pieces, then it might not be the BEST gain right now. But it will still be one.
