I'd love to see Marquis Elmdor from FFT, as well as any or all of the other Zodiac Demons. We've already gotten one by name too, Cuchulainn.

To be fair I would imagine a "Hero" trial as something that could be done. Seeing as the raid is all about being a program and just history and fiction brought forth, what better option to face us than the same ones who killed Kefka, Sephiroth, Ultimecia and such?

The thing is, Yoshi already stated ages ago that they're keeping to a set of rules when it comes to adding characters/antagonists from past FF games in fanservice appearances in FFXIV - things like Cloud of Darkness and X-Death kind of get around it by not even technically being actual characters anyway and just forces of nature (X-Death was evil sealed in a tree, and Cloud of Darkness is... the personification of darkness, nothing more).
So hence you're not going to be seeing the likes of Kefka or Cloud in a fanservice fight, because of Yoshi's following statement:
Accordingly, that counts most FF antagonists out because, from FFXIV's perspective, they're 'already dead' or their 'role has ended' in their FF title (like Kefka, Sephiroth etc). Of course nothing is stopping SE from violating their own rules, but I actually respect and commend Yoshi for sticking to his guns in this regard, instead of bowing to fan pressure for pointless fights that go against this very principle.Originally Posted by Gamerescape
Also, in regards to future collaborations with other FF series, we will be adhering to the below principles:
· We will never introduce characters that would destroy their meaning or story
· We will not use characters that are already dead or whose role has ended in their title
For example, “Red XIII” who appeared in FFVII.
I believe we mentioned “Red XIV” as a joke before, but Red XIII has a very rare and specific role in the world of FFVII. If he was wandering around the world of Eorzea it would destroy the image of the world of FFVII, so this can’t happen.
This is just a simple example of what we mean.

ARDYN. A Garlean Emperor of folklore.

Biggs and Wedge from FFVIII who manage to find their way to Eorzea through sheer incompetence.
I would love to see Ultimecia from VIII cause....she is fucking awesome *.*
I would also like to see Seymour from FF10....Wait wait wait, don't be mad, it's just for a remake of his battle song ^^"
Not sure making them appear in Omega (or an Omega like raid) would be a violation of that rule. If I got the story right, Omega creates copies of powerful enemies to test our strength so....even if they already died in their universe, they would be copies of legendary enemiesThe thing is, Yoshi already stated ages ago that they're keeping to a set of rules when it comes to adding characters/antagonists from past FF games in fanservice appearances in FFXIV - things like Cloud of Darkness and X-Death kind of get around it by not even technically being actual characters anyway and just forces of nature (X-Death was evil sealed in a tree, and Cloud of Darkness is... the personification of darkness, nothing more).

People don't know how to take criticism anymore, and bad play is rewarded with with a coddling mentality. Yes, this is a casual game for the most part - that doesn't mean people need to walk on eggshells in fear of getting reported for pointing out things. This whole 'please don't say anything even slightly negative' mentality that we seem to be going towards and the devs seemingly pushing towards it is creating a disturbing trend.

The four elemental bosses you fight in the tower in FF4 would be nice.
FF1 Garland would be acceptable, so long as his ultimate was called 'Knock You All Down."
It's only natural to expect Omega's 2nd and 3rd tiers to be enemies from other titles where Omega
itself has appeared, making the options 8, 10, and 12. Assuming 12 is out of the running (since the
24 raid is going to be based on Ivalice and that's where 12 takes place) I expect the 2nd tier to
be from 8 and the 3rd from 10:
Predictions:
Deltascape 5: Minotaur Brothers
Deltascape 6: Doomtrain
Deltascape 7: Griever
Deltascape 8: Ultimacia
Deltascape 9: Sinspawn
Deltascape 10: Seymour/Anima
Deltascape 11: Lady Yunalesca
Deltascape 12: Aeon Jecht

All of these are nice predictions and fights I'd be interested in seeing, but Lady Yunalesca probably wont happen considering we already fought Sophia.FF1 Garland would be acceptable, so long as his ultimate was called 'Knock You All Down."

I like helping people with their Job ideas, it's fun to help them visuallize and create the job they'd like to play most. Plus I make my own too, I'll post them eventually.

I could see her fight being structured similarly to Exdeath's. Phase 1 is vanilla sorceress, phase 2 is her junctioned to Griever, the savage-only phase 3 is her goddess form. The transitions would be very easy to outright copy from FF8.
I mostly just wanna hear Soken's take on The Extreme.
