Because my post is not only addressing that argument but rather the influx of that complaint I've observed lately.

Your post is relevant to the other regen thread- should have just put it there and added to a healthy discussion. If there is someone you don't want to engage with then you don't have to, but I fail to see how making a new thread stops that exactly.
