That is true lol. This 7th kid was a surprise, hell, they all were lol. Although between me and my wife we pull 20k a year in taxes alone from kids. It's easy to have kids and play, my sons, 3 of them, actually play this game too.
I mean, I certainly haven't been playing since beta, but I don't think I'd call around when SophEX released to be "just started playing". Not that I really need to be pushing this thread even further off topic by responding. In either case, I would apologize for doubting the existence of your children, (even if 7 of them is far beyond what I could rationally handle), and would put this to rest.
Ultimately bads will always be bad, jump-potioned or no, the number of people who couldn't manage a 1/2/3 combo before job pots existed prove that well enough. If people want to spend money in exchange for time, that's their prerogative ultimately.

I understand that players are anti-potion, because of the bad players that it can create, but the truth is, bad players have always been here. This game has given us options on how to combat the players that are bad and dont want to improve, this option is: Vote Kick.
If a newcomer wants to spend his/her money to skip alot of the game and prevent themselves from enjoying the ARR/HW storyline, then this is their choice. I had a potion user in my party few days ago, he was bad, like BLM that never used Fire IV/Blizzard IV etc. bad. I gave him advice, even asked the tank to pull 1 small group so the BLM could practice. He refused to accept our help, BLM did not care about his preformance, did not care about the group and was fine with being carried. So we took the next action and booted his ass out!
Simple realy, if you think they are bad, kick them out. Its called playstyle differences, GM agreed that this is a valid reason.
But I jumped... and I like to think I do my best. :c I even ask for tips on various forums. Is it that rare? I'm sad now. - I just wanted to play stormblood. T.T
Sadly, it is rare. I've seen very few people when the first timer thing comes up at the start of a run actually ask for assistance with anything. And unless they are REALLY struggling, I won't say anything since I've tried before and people have snapped saying they want to do the dungeon blind. When someone speaks up, I will do my best to help them(even going so far as staying in the synced Ifrit EX - got it from Mentor Roulette - until the timer runs out to help them learn it) and give them what advice I can, though it's not always the best of advice since I'm not that great of a healer.
So you insult people who have a different oppinion. Seems you are a real nice person.Anyone saying we shouldnt be able to have more than one is tryhard who fails at real life and compensates with games.
So, someone who likes alts and knows how to play each role well shouldnt be able to skip an incredibly boring slog through ARR or grinding? FOH with that crap.
