Can you allow us to have unique glamour for each job?

To be completely honest I'm not really annoyed about having all my healers look like my healer glam, all my crafters look like my crafter glam, etc... but, having what you described added as an -optional- feature, an extra extra feature to split customization further where wanted, yeah, that would be a nice feature! Can't really argue about that. Sure I'll vote for this!

Some jobs I still like to use some Artifact armor for, which unfortunately means the other jobs that share that gear are stuck with the base appearance of those items so it can be a total mess. Or some times I just want to change looks for the same job if the glamours were saved to gear sets instead of the actual gear (the gear sets already store glamour information! so we're already almost there) then we could just simply swap gear sets for extra looks!

Needing storage space for glam + limited storage space makes me broadly disinterested in glam/buying glam items.

I mean, this suggestion would make it worse. If no classes shared gear, you would need to carry a unique piece of gear for each class (2 for rings). I think there is more than 35 classes in this game - so really, no space to store it.

I have all the gear sets I'm getting from the 50 and 60 job quests as I'm levelling sitting in their boxes on a retainer. I don't dare open them even to see what they look like because I don't have the 5 open slots to store it.

What we really need is the ability to change glamors mid-battle, so we can assign glamors for each different stance, spell or weaponskill.

Also while on the topic of glamour, please allow us to save different hair styles with gear sets as well. Some hair styles look really good with hats, and some look terrible with hats. Instead of having to run to the aesthetician every time I change jobs, it would be nice if I could just save different hair styles with gear sets instead. Longer hair style with a hat for Bard or Red Mage, braided ponytail for White Mage or Paladin who I do not use a hat for. Etc.

I do want a feature like this. Crafters in particular have the conundrum where class specific sets look really cool but take too much space, and shared sets are convenient but can't really use class specific glamours. I don't know if its been stated yet, but it was mentioned in the last live letter that big changes are planned for glamours. Hopefully the upcoming changes can include a feature like this.

I hate I can't glamour my PLD in its new AF gear AND my DRK in its AF gear if I am using the Lost Allagan Sets.

I love the look of my RDM gear, and it sucks that when (if) I level SMN or BLM, I won't be able to glamour them separately as well.

I like both the look of ASTs dress and WHM AF gear set, but I know once I am done leveling WHM and have to wear my verity set, I will have to choose...and I don't wanna!

Seriously, we need a odd number patch that will address our current glamour system. If it's a question that is constantly asked every darn LL, then maybe it's time to bump that issue up in the priority list!?

We've had more than enough years to deal with this, it's high time it was adressed, even if the entire code needs to be overhauled.

Hopefully. That would be a step in the right direction. As much as I want a glamour log, I would like to be able to have unique appearances for jobs first but I guess that's better than nothing for now. It would certainly help clear up some inventory and like.. an entire retainer's worth of space lol.
