    No thank you... this kind of thing is why FFXIV's raiding never really feels like raiding to me. You never get that feeling that your digging into some massive environment that requires more than a standard party size of people. There's no connection between each boss, no sense of space and scope. The 24-mans are the last remaining hint at these things in this game.

    As a healer main who does savage content, I can't stand 24-man raids, especially after Dun Scaith. Even if I go in with a party of friends, it feels like I have to babysit the entire alliance, where I see people who are pretty much there to be carried. I see healers and ranged DPS just stand around, doing nothing, people who can't play their jobs properly or are only doing the bare minimum, not using oGCDs, tanks who charge into fights but then can't hold aggro or be bothered to use cooldowns. To me, 24-man raids are a big clusterf***.

    While I don't think they should be as hard as Savage, I do think they should be on par with Extreme Trials.
    EX primals are the only kind of midcore content in the game currently, with normal mode fights and dungeons being casual and savage being hardcore.
    I understand the lack of hardcore content since only about 10% of the playerbase does it, but I think more midcore content would be great and 24-man raids are probably the perfect way to do it.

    considering they made just about everything much easier in Stormblood compared to Heavensward I wouldn't count on anything except utter faceroll for all the level jumpers.

    I hope they come out with some kind of challenging 4man content like they have been saying they would in 4.1 though. And I hope that eureka isn't a pile of dogsh...

    At the very least give us better rewards for doing the ex trials. Move the weapon tomestone from 7 o4n clears to 7 ex trial clears or something and move the lesser ilvl weapons into O4N. Then i might actually be inclined to do the ex trials again.

    There's really no reason to change them. They are meant to be gear catch ups for those who don't do Savage. And they're also plenty challenging unless you go in with some perfect group who watches a video and always does everything right. I loved doing Dun Scaith opening day in PUGs when none of us knew what the hell we were doing and had to work together to work it out.

    I also don't want to see the trash taken out. I love it personally as it gives me that taste of old-school raiding like back in EverQuest where we cleared trash to get to bosses.

    The current Savage mode is not hardcore at all (like WoW Mythic for example), this first tier is very accessible if you are willing to build a static of course (or if you want to try your luck with randoms).

    LOOOOOL! THAT WAS GOOD X''DD I want to have two modes tho but seems its as u say impossible since the majority are all defensive about it. In my opinion I think most people shouldn't take it the wrong way, nothing will change - they can STILL que for Normal mode, just that there is an option for SAVAGE mode. Don't see why ppl get so frustrated about with the mentality of "don't take my loot QQ".
