    Now, if you wanted to add a savage mode in addition to the current difficulty level, sure. As others have already said above, I have a hard time seeing it working out, but I suppose it's worth a try. What I would sign for in relation to 24 player raids? A duty roulette.

    While this is true, you gotta remember there's a trade off. While raids like Midnight Skypetal Plains and Dawn of Khanda Vihar are puggable. Most don't want to do MSPP past the third phase in pug form due to just that. A party missing the water mechanic and generally low attack power can fastly lead to a wipe or spending time running into a brick wall due to the encounters 3 minute enrage timer. While raids like Black Tower and soon Vortex Temple being completely Clan only content. I've never seen a PUG Black Tower raid, and with good reason because these raids take a high degree of communication, participation, high Attack Power and a perfect min maxed character to pass. This isn't even mentioning the time issue too. My clan does Black Tower and it takes them two days, raiding three hours each of those days to finish.

    Communication is the big thing because BnS is no different then FFXIV in the matter of PUG's often not willing to communicate. I've been in 24-mans in FFXIV where one hand doesn't know what that other is doing pertaining to group assignments and in the afformentioned MSPP raid, it can be like pulling teeth to find people in the raid to speak up and do the water mechanic.

    That's the trade off, accessibility and something you can just jump right into, or something that takes careful planning and everyone on the same page and willing to be a team player.

    24ppl is an unorganized mess. They will never made a Savage version of it.
    It's the same as current 8ppl Normals. Just a free gear, while providing "story" element to it.

    I'd rather have them to remove all trash mobs between bosses. A completelly unecessary padding of raid time.

    @Ayliss, I understand that msp and khanda Vihar are durable in pugs. Ppl don't do msp anymore because it literally has no legendary soulshields to offer as good loot and since most ppl got their achievements to access the 678 pieces, nobody does it but if they add more to it then ofc ppl do it. Before I took a break from bns I was maxed out and our clan did black tower within 2 hours. Before that while in progress we did have lots of wipes but honestly isn't that the same with ffxiv? Eventually you will get it on farm but ofc that's why I alternatively suggest to have an normal difficulty for people that aren't interested in endgame tier modes. I mean, they did this for 8-mans so why can't this be an option for 24-man raids? There will be choice for casual players nd hardcore players where both are happy. Don't get me wrong I love ffxiv, just a suggestion to the Dev team where they can make it happen.

    While I don't hardcore raid anymore (10+ years of it across 3 MMOs, was enough), I'd hate Square to make the 24-man casual raids harder just because (because more people thrown at a raid is OBVIOUSLY better right?) other MMOs are doing it. When Blizzard took away hardcore 10-man away at the end of MoP was the end of my guild-based/scheduled raiding days in MMOs. All because they made up BS excuses on why more is better and not actually adhering to their words in the end.

    All of the tryhard wannabe hardcore parrots in the various WoW forums constantly talking down to 10-man heroic only raiders like me and telling me that 20-man was more hardcore/epic pissed me off as well. More is not epic and definitely not more personal and fun as it its with a smaller team you get to know better over time. I tried four Mythic 20 raid teams in early to mid WoD and each one fell apart because of egos, greed, no sense of camaraderie, and people constantly leaving and having trouble filling their spots.

    My advice, quit trying to add more hardcore RAID (could use some more mythic+ style stuff in FFXIV IMO or rejigger future PotD updates for such things) elements/complications/restrictions to an already established casual MMO that has just enough hardcore bits to it to please those players.

    I thought Dun Scaith difficulty was perfect, to be honest :/ it's still extremely easy if you get an alliance where people can coordinate and play with their hands instead of their feet, but in most cases 24 mans are a disorganized mess, so I don't quite think this would work out as you intend it to.

    Add to this the fact that they're added in during "catch up patches" and drop gear same ilvl as previous patch higher end gear - you get a lot of players that don't play any hard content beyond expert runs and maybe an ex primal or two - making this savage difficulty would defeat the whole purpose of adding catch up gear/content in the first place, so the only way I see this working would be if they added both normal difficulty as well as a second difficulty of that 24 man, but honestly that would mess up the gear proggression a bit (lot), so I don't see this happening.

    Coordinating 8 people can already be a chore, just imagine multiplying that by 3, it'd be a nightmarish clusterf**k.

    This would be soooo awesome, a few #tight_private-tricks_end_game_raiding_groups won't like to play public savage raids, but many, many good players will love this idea! Beating something hard, in public, with a lot of people around seeing what everyone is doing, is extremely gratifying. I'd love to go down on that in a more public way, a more massive way. True MMO gaming right there.

    Yes these raids take longer to get content on farm, yes yes yes, but really, when is the only time people complain about this???? HUH? When?
    When it's more public than private! It is a MMO after all, make hard fights more massive and public for crying out loud!

    If anything, they need to make them shorter. 30-45 minutes is pretty long when you gotta do it several times a week for loot.

    They need to cut the trash pulls, shrink the hallways between bosses, and not make bosses that waste time by going invulnerable.
