I blame Squeenix for weighting Solo far more heavily than LP, making the pool of players very small and prone to wintrading.
Solo can at times be a very miserable experience (especially at the start of a season) making the current Arena system not fun to play since the outcome of a match is often based purely on matchmaking.

I was really excited about giving The Feast a try this season with the new changes and all.

But holy crap, Duty Finder for PvP is just as awful as Duty Finder for PvE. I think I'm just gonna sit the season out. It's not worth it to have my evenings ruined by idiots and having absolutely no control over your ranking.

I was excited for Feast bc I was under the impression you'd be able to group as 4 and go in. I was looking forward to joining a mini static, if you will, going in, smashing face, learning from our mistakes and evolving as a team. Solo queuing for a 4 on 4 match is flipping cancer to any kind of PvP. Ok sure, be able to queue solo if you just care to cross off a WT log, but there are some people who enjoy pvp and this is just killing it for me.

The worst is when you notice your DPS or tank are running in circles and the enemy tank evidently knows how to CC you as a healer. When I see the enemy tank doing that properly while my own team's tank is just running around in circles far away from the battle I know I'm gonna have a really, really bad time. If only Concentration was actually instant...

I can't imagine many teams doing pre-made ranked legit. Many that were interested were most likely discouraged from giving it a shot because of win traders. Maybe those that want it back are win traders themselves. Maybe.

With 4.1, you will supposedly be able to setup custom matches cross-server which opens the door to having custom tournaments organized by the community. I welcome that over a pre-made queue.
