Fantasia preview room

I had to fantasia again once just for changing the voice, cause in battle it was ear wrenching.

1) Not everyone is rich. And 2) gil sinks work far better when it can be numerous small amounts.

it shouldn't be cheap to do something for ingame money that 1) we currently have to pay for and 2) can not really be explained in any way ingame, and not just in a "this haircut made my hair longer" way but a "the aesthetican made me taller" way.
Plastic surgery isn't exactly a visit to the hairdresser after all :P

(Also, I generally dissaprove of this, even if we'd only get more stuff from this, it just feels wrong being able to change your character that much. besides, we all know SE wouldn't do that)

There's a youtube channel who has videos of all the emote/battle voice bits sorted by race and gender, it's pretty nice if you want to make sure your voice doesn't suddenly sound awful in battle!

I know for a fact I've sold them on the MB and traded them to an alt via FC chest, hopefully that hasn't changed. ... it's a pretty expensive preview though. They were going for like 20k at one point.

You would buy less Fantasia if it would happen. So forget it and just throw your money at SE.

Why using a Fantasia before testing it out on an alt?

Yeah creating an alt and saving the appearance is basically the best thing you can do now. So also having some sort of try-out room (where you can actually try all your gear / emotes and whatever, even with the saved alt-character data), would definitely be even better. I like the idea.

Oh, my apologies... I'm on Tonberry where they're like 10k each at most right now. They were as low as 2k once. >.< Didn't know they were such a rare commodity!

I agree with this.. The fantasia room doesnt let you hear all of the noises your character makes.. I liked a certain voice but when they yell during certain attacks it sounded horrible and would be annoying.. The voice of my character is important and it would be nice to test these things with all the voices instead of only have the 4 options they give you to try and sample what the voice is like in different emotions..

I think after using one they should give you an hour or two where you have unlimited edits. That way you can run around a bit, try on your actual gear, etc.

When I fantasia'd I figured out what I wanted to do on a retainer first and saved the appearance data.
