This would be great. I've had a few cutscenes where the lighting is very.. unflattering on my face but it's rare so i'm not super hot to spend money changing things. But I wasn't aware of it until I ran a few dungeons...

WHERE IS THIS KETTLE EVERYONE KEEPS INTRODUCING ME TO?
4-5k gil is chump change make it more like 100k-200kCall me crazy, but I'd like it if the Aesthetician Bell allowed us to alter everything about our character's appearance outside of race, gender, and clan(also none of the nameday/star sign stuff).
And price it like SWTOR where the more things you change, the more expensive it is. So changing a hairstyle/colour might be 2000 gil, but changing your height, face shape, or skin colour might be 4k-5k gil.then it'll actually be worth something
I just use a Retainer Fantasia... you can display them if you have a house, or call them in any city with a bell to see how they look, put clothes on them, etc.
They're literally your free mannequin service.
Ka-Lian'Tu-Sa on Tonberry, we're always looking for new folk to join!

Problem is, you have to have a retainer fantasia for that. And I've never had one... I think it's a venture reward, and it can't be traded/put on marketboard.
White Mage ~ Scholar ~ PaladinBoi if you got kicked for the same thing in over 20 duties I strongly suggest you think hard on whatever the hell it is you're doing
As I'm sure you are well aware, it takes more than one person to be able to kick a player from a duty, so in all those instances there were at least two people agreeing they'd be better off without you tanking.
Yes, Venture Reward. No, actually they CAN be traded/sold to other people. I've sold them before and unless it changed in 4.0 you should still be able to.
Hmm, according to this it's not tradeable. I'll check the Eorzea Database when it comes off maintenance though (would have checked already but went to check and got told it was unavailable due to maintenance... /tableflip).

I don't know about trading. But they can definitely be sold/bought.
I know for a fact I've sold them on the MB and traded them to an alt via FC chest, hopefully that hasn't changed. ... it's a pretty expensive preview though. They were going for like 20k at one point.Hmm, according to this it's not tradeable. Stii don't get why we can't change skin tones and eyes to the Aesthician, I mean a viable excuse, lorewise considering they love to hide behind it when they refuse to give us something but tend to forget it when it's about $
I mean, we can teleport, shoot fireballs and event fight Gods, don't tell me we have not invented colors lens or tanning machines.....
People don't know how to take criticism anymore, and bad play is rewarded with with a coddling mentality. Yes, this is a casual game for the most part - that doesn't mean people need to walk on eggshells in fear of getting reported for pointing out things. This whole 'please don't say anything even slightly negative' mentality that we seem to be going towards and the devs seemingly pushing towards it is creating a disturbing trend.
