That what I figured out for bis. Really don't need crafted accessories they won't make much of a difference world first has come and gone.

I would use sushi there you lose a lot of points off food using pork
I agree crafted accessories aren't a must have but their are significantly better than the 340 ones. That what I figured out for bis. Really don't need crafted accessories they won't make much of a difference world first has come and gone.

You're losing 2STR vs 63 substats per accessory, that's significant enough.
But expect to spend 1M per accessory in melds...
if not more dh 5 on my server are 60k now
yeah the Heavens Eye V is a bit ridiculous on my server 55k - 70k. I opted out for IV's since they cost only 3k - 4k, for the last two melds since the rng is too strong. I'm also only going for 3 crafted right side, but still debating on second crafted ring due to high sks on it, so I'm really only missing out 24 dh which imo is much better than either farming diadem or playing the mb against botters and under cutters. Both of which I hate with a passion.
if it's 315 secondary stats, I guess it's around 1.5 to 2% DPS ?
However, underachiever is something you can use in a context where you skip some work for a lazy result.
Here, succeeding withouth using the BIS can also mean, you are better than thoses who need that extra punch to succeed.
Same case, different view. Needing a lift to climb floors instead of a staircase is far for beeing an overachiever. And as stated before : First kills are done, what do you expect now ? A fading trail of fame ?
I don't think there's a simple answer to this due to interactions between all the stats and stat tiers, but you're basically trading off 8 STR and 40 random secondary stats on the i340 set for 380 secondary stats of your choosing on the crafted set. Boosting your DH by 380 translates into about a 2.4% increase in damage (or anywhere from 1.7-2.2% if you pick another stat).
The bigger point is that it illustrates a flaw in the present stat scaling system. Generally speaking, you expect raid drops to be definitively stronger than starter crafted gear which is 20 ilvls lower. You don't have to go out and buy/make crafted accessories if you don't want to. The prices are very much over-inflated, both on the accessories and the associated tier 5/6 materia.
That's not bis. Swap the pants and head. The only bis raid piece is pants all else is augmented and you do need full crafted accessories. That what I figured out for bis. Really don't need crafted accessories they won't make much of a difference world first has come and gone.

Bis= best in slot for the highest damage possible from gear.
Not taking full crafted makes it by definition, not Bis.
I don't think augmented chest is better than savage, but until the BiS solver ppl are making are finished we can't say for sure.
It's adjusted every even numbered patch, because of that we have no idea how things will scale.
As for crafted, they changed it in 3.2 when they locked us out of overmealding main stat. The reason they locked it was specifically because they said it wasn't fair tanks had to pay out the ass to be bis. And no, there was no crafted bis past 3.2 aside for a crafted ring in midas some warriors prefered to hit the next ss tier
