FC House Taken without any notices

For the first (second, really), no. That kind of power comes from the FC (and literally checking the placard of one of my neighbors, it lists the FC as the owner, not the FC master); technically speaking, any member with the permission to Construct/Remove the Hall, is capable of doing so (in fact, with the right to BUY the land, ANY member of the FC can buy the plot; my FC did that when the new wards came out: all the officers had the appropriate amount of gil and spread out amongst the new wards to try and get the plot we wanted).

No need to be grumpy, I asked a simple question, you could have answered it without the histrionics.

It goes down based on titles, and members that enter it. had a few contacts who became masters after main people didn't log back in. After a few months they came back demanding their housing back. Not likely to happen it's pretty much forfeiting ownership. It's up the current master to pass it or give ownership. You can but why would anyone do so?

Great, thanks. So it basically follows the same logic as what happens if an FC master goes absent and the master role is transferred. I can't believe people would lapse their master role and then demand the FC house as if it was personal property. That's a pretty poor move really, if you gave up the master role either accidentally or by design, you gave it up.

Does anyone have any concrete knowledge of what happens if a Free Company master purchases the FC home and then later passes the master role onto another player in the FC, and then later still leaves the FC? Do they retain ownership of the plot/house?

If they do retain the plot, can they relinquish it whether the FC master wants to or not?

Why do you want an FC house if you or your members don't even go inside it?

Its a pretty small FC and most of us don't hang out at the FC house, and if we do its to feed the chocobos. So again, we don't usually go inside, and the last time I did was about a month ago. You don't have to believe me or not, again I'm not peeved about it being gone. I'm annoyed that I wasn't informed anywhere on my game or in emails. I'm also a little confused as to why I didn't get an email, nor my own members especially when a friend told me about a week ago he had to go save his house from being demolished.

It was annouce around 3.3 or 3.4 and you will receive an email regarding about the demolish. They should send you the notice email on the email that you register for your account.

There's no player ownership of free company houses, FC houses are tied to the FC, the person who bought it is not considered the owner, the FC itself is the owner and anyone with the proper permissions can do anything with the plot, including retrieving the gil and furniture from auto demolition.
