FC House Taken without any notices

Hello! So I had an FC mansion before and while it is regrettable I lost said house (and it was immediately bought up) I was actually more confused that I wasn't told at all that it would happen. It never appeared on my notices in game, nor in my own email. So while I'm a little sad about it being gone, I'm more peeved that I wasn't informed of its impending poof.

I've also been informed that none of my own FC members were told about it either and I'm wondering if this is some sort of issue with just people not being notified. A friend of mine was notified for his but we weren't? So I'm just a tad bit confused

If your FC was auto-demolished that means neither you or any of your members went inside for 45 days. At that point, do you feel you should even have a house?

This sounds suspicious. (not you, the situation) I thought the only way you can lose you house is if you u don't log into the game for some period of time.

Are you sure that someone in your fc didn't sell it?

If you were gone an xx amount of days (I can't remember exact days) of not logging in.
The house gets taken and you lose it. They warn you in writing somewhere.
Pretty much if you wanna keep the house, sub, log on for 2 seconds in the house, log off to say you were on lol.
Sorry that happened to you though. It's kinda like paying rent.

Were they not entering the house at all? The demolition timer is reset if any fc member enters the house.

I believe you get an email warning. I got one for a server I have an alt on.

The last time I was in the house was about a month ago, so if the case of it being demolished was supposed to be reset, it didn't? As for the other members they don't generally head to the FC house and if they do its mostly to hang out in front. I'm not saying that I should have had the house, I'm saying I just wasn't informed and it would have been nice to instead of rushing to fit all the stuff in said mansion into my retainers/personal house/apartment.

So, hang about. None of your free company members nor you set foot in the house in over a month? I find that extremely hard to believe if you were all active. If you weren't, then the system was doing its job.

As for correspondence, I remember getting emails for a free company house auto-demo on my old server, months after I'd left, so forgive me for being a little sceptical here.

Its a pretty small FC and most of us don't hang out at the FC house, and if we do its to feed the chocobos. So again, we don't usually go inside, and the last time I did was about a month ago. You don't have to believe me or not, again I'm not peeved about it being gone. I'm annoyed that I wasn't informed anywhere on my game or in emails. I'm also a little confused as to why I didn't get an email, nor my own members especially when a friend told me about a week ago he had to go save his house from being demolished.

If you did not seem to receive a warning email chances are it was auto-filtered to your junk folder in your email inbox. Check there for one and make sure to flag the sender address as "not junk/spam" for the future.

If this is what happened, it is out of SE's control and not really their fault, although I admit an in-game message could be useful to prevent future occurrences of similar situations.
