Yea I got the Mike Hunt one abit afterwards but it could also be a real name. Seeing as its the internet and the huge trend of inuendo names I doubt it but that ONE is probly one to let slide.

It shouldn't be offensive to just about anyone that I can tell. However many people are annoyed, some more than others, by people making "names" like that. It's a title built into the name. I personally dislike names like that, but feel no need to report them.

this was my point. if the person is not bothering me or using racist or insulting terms then i just ignore them or look at the name and laugh it off. if it involves racism or insults directed at a certain person those i would report. if they are just making a name that is another word for penis i just laugh and keep going.

I've got better things to do than report every other person I see for infractions.

This is how I think about it:

If it's against the rules and you find it offensive, report it and continue enjoying your day.
If it's against the rules and you're not bothered by it, leave it for someone else to report if they dislike it, and continue enjoying your day.

There's no need to insult people and call them crybabies for finding something distasteful. No one's crying about anything. lol

I think I've come across one or two people with really stupid names, but I wasn't bothered. Every time I enter the market wards though, I see about 10 very offensive names. I wonder, do people ever report those? I don't know if SE even does anything regarding those. They're all over the place. Not bothered by it, but I don't find it funny either. It's just kind of immature.

Firstly, being on the internet doesn’t justify anything. People talking to me through the internet are real people, not coloured pixels. So in my standard, I treat people with the same politeness I treat people in real life. I would expect the same from any other decent person as well. Internet should not be used as a shield for people to misbehave or misconduct, exploiting the anonymity within.

I'm so glad you said this. I feel the exact same. ^-^ I like to treat people with the same politeness I would in person. We're all people here. We deserve respect and we should give respect.
