In fact I do, IMO is a superior system because any content is a potential upgrade and farming a raid it's more interesting. In fact, the main problem behind this is people stupidity and how they fail to understand than the baseline item is good enough and anything else is an extra (this is not true for world first raids but those are a small %), so they farm Mythic+ to death and request absurd Ilvls for the most basic content.

However, I enjoy FF14 current system and don't mind it at all.
