1: Long existed players already ''kill'' the end game, duty and party finder groups, so to me no difference really.
2: You mean most of the players? Many I know who beat most of the stuff doesn't even play that much anymore, so there is no differene here either between new or existing players.
    3: again what?
4: Never played wow, but honestly potion isn't bad. If I was never playing this game from scratch I would and I would gladly learn my class well too.

Instead of asking all those 4 questions, especially the first one, can't you just ask the long existing players why they ''kill' the duty or party finders?

Warned what? The long existing players are already bad, most of them are, so why is this any different?

I'd say boosted players aren't that much worse than the average one.

^This. Few days ago I kept the tank alive who never used cds on adds. In fact he was so bad I had to heal more than I used to which is fine, again I was doing more than the BLM and the melee. I asked the tank to use cds so it would be easier for me to heal. The blm says get better and just heal more. I swear some people are just really horrible and it's like what you said, an average player isnt much different than a boosted player.

Jump potions bought by completely new players are probably in the minority. What you're running into are just bad players. Take these potions away, you'll still be left with bad players and no new scapegoat.

My only frustration so far has been presumably-boosted players that, as best as I can tell, queue up with every language ticked for faster queues, leaving them completely unable to even understand any advice they need, let alone actually learn and adapt. At least, that's what I have to assume, otherwise they're being willfully ignorant when they can't follow basic cues and mechanics.

Thing is, there are boosted players whom are actually good because they are willing to:

    A. Read the tool tip
    B. Read/ watch guides on how to play their job for the new content

A bad player won't do any of the above. They won't look into the ideal "rotations", they won't bother gearing up correctly (seriously, an FC mate encountered a tank still wearing the weathered jewelry that new characters start with... in a Heavensward dungeon), they're not willing to change their ways in order to improve. This game also inadequately teaches people how to play their role, aside from the Hall of the Novice. And, even then, that's the basic shit & not the nuanced stuff.

Basically, a bad player will be a bad player regardless of a jump potion or not.

TBH I don't think the jump potions have changed much on players with non existent skill getting to late/end game content. These ppl were paying FC's for carries through duties, trials, and raids since early ARR. I actually ended up abandoning an Omega normal V4 as PLD because everyone but the other tank didn't appear to know how to avoid mechanics or learn from what happened that made them die. The final nail in the coffin that had me leave is they tried to blame it on SE claiming they must have done an update to change the mechanics of the battle...

If they wanted jump potions to work properly they should have also invested into job play training as a required tutorial for basic mechanics and rotation foundations.

A few things. Before boosted players there were those that never bothered to learn their jobs. Others that learned but were not always top notch but at least they tried. I was for the boost potions but seeing how they turned out, I am no longer a fan of them. PotD was a nice idea at first until it became a leveling area with no skill needed. PvP is now a leveling area with no skill needed. Sit around and wait for it to end. That really ruined PvP.

Following MSQ can be slow but the dungeons are truly the best place to learn any job. DPS queues are long and many dps choose potd or pvp for leveling. I switched from heals to tanking in SB, though I still like to heal sometimes. When it comes to gear, it is job locked and I am unable to raid these days. So less gearing options. I like my drk but feel stuck to that job. I was working on whm but to what end? Dungeons can often be a mess, daily roulettes are going down the drain in skill level. The issues, even if boost potions go, there is still potd and PvP for leveling. There is no reasonable incentive for more players to tank or heal. I have enjoyed dps in HW and SB but don't dps to help form parties with FC mates for dungeons. Dungeons have no value. Once you hit 70, do a bunch of hunts and done for the week with a far better bonus than any dungeon or roulette could ever give. Leveling another job is pointless, the gear is job locked and weekly cap. I craft so I have i320 melded gear works great and like that I can make it, would love to get more tome gear but with the weekly lock I give up.

I got slightly off topic but SE has some work to do to make actually learning your job worth it and making content worth entering again with groups other than preformed groups.
