And here you're wrong, because this isn't FFXI. Relics are only relevant during their expansion, SE is easing any previous content (i.e. XP bonus, echo), so the relic is no exception and asking to nerf the light step sooner rather than later is a legitimate request. Your argument is just irrelevant in the context of FFXIV.

You have not justified the need to nerf them, it is an ACHIEVEMENT WEAPON, it does not GATE anything. you are handed i270 weapon, nerfing them is not a need. It does not matter what other games do or does not do, this is purely concept.

If they wanted a nerf to lights, the request should been clearer and more detail, how do they propose they be nerfed? The wording was very vague and appeared it was talking about doing 240>260, not 260>270.
