get rid of leve Allowances

Unfortunately, Red Scrips are way too slow going for me and I need them for other things. :-/
I am using poetics now as I rebuild my stockpile, but it's still way, way too slow to be pleasant. And I'm just going for my bow rightnow; trying to blow through all of the achievements is really going to be painful. :-(

So you are doing something slower to gain sands because you need red scripts for other things? makes no sense.

Materia > crafting > gathering ... she is not sure if throwing leves for amber would be faster then poetic farming since it is 450 for 2 but it is an option for those that can't craft/gather. She never heard of someone being so unlucky you only get 6 ambers out of 100 leves, it sounds like you where not checking all the spots.

Btw saying "get rid of leve Allowances" sounds more like you just want to get rid of the leve system. Asking for unlimited leves is unreasonable, they are in the game for those who can't play much per day so they can have some kind of gain. Leves are the best gain/minute, not gain/day.

She never heard of someone being so unlucky you only get 6 ambers out of 100 leves, it sounds like you where not checking all the spots.

For the first part, I fail to see how it "makes no sense". The fact is I still need to do a lot in this game and playing catch-up is taking a substantial amount of time as is. I need gatherer scrips for Folklore books and crafter scrips for Master tomes.
And considering the cost of crafting for the latter and the speed of acquisition for the former, they aren't exactly a significantly faster endeavour (if at all) for me.


As for the second comment, it's largely due to my ineptitude. That said, I didn't miss the chests, they just weren't there. The big issue is I followed some poor advice from an old discussion that suggested doing the large-scale leves. I didn't expect the spawn rate was as low as it is, and due to the smaller pool of runs large-scale leves allow, RNG just didn't work out in my favor. :-(

I explained why, because it takes more time to do spam leves for amber, as you see how long it can take, compared to crafting, it is 125 scripts for 2 sands (25x 5) Marid Leather Grimoire gives 132, you only need make one of them for 2 sands, since the conversion changed in SB, and making that is cheaper then doing the 3 element materia, if time is important to you, you do it by crafting or element materia, that is why it makes no sense. They only take about 30 seconds to make.

Also note if you are unable to get sands quickly, you might as well wait till you are in a position to do so (be it leveling more, or whatever is gating you from advancing.) HW content got outdated on the release of SB and it only takes 600 poetics for a i270 weapon. Since atma is only for glam, just do other things as you gain poetics as a side effect. The person I am posting for notes gaining a full 275 relic after SB, just from leveling jobs and gaining everything with the poetic rain as she leveled 5 jobs 60-70 and rdm and sam 50-60. The only reason she don't physically have it yet is simply from playing with a friend and does not know what to do about light farming. (basically no free time yet, but has all the currency for 275)

Making a change to let everyone be all level 70 crafting and gathering in 24 hours because you do not know an effective way to get sands for a glam weapon is a bit extreme, don't you think?
