Silver from Foxy Lady yields 9 tokens, I believe. Still not terrible. Terrible is the drop to 1 for a Bronze rating.Currently it only grants an achievement at gold rating. After that it's pretty pointless reward wise. The stones you can get from farming Outfoxed which is way less frustrating since it can spawn every 2 hours give or take and doesn't require as many people and even easier currently with 3 separate map copies.
But you're right that only Gold offers the achievement, which sadly doesn't have a title or anything nifty attached to it.

Many people just don't know that regular FATE and hunts credit is based on aggro generated and not damage done (but its different in The Diadem FATEs). That means tanks should be in tank stance and spam their main aggro combo, summoners should use Titan-egi and dps and healers should not use aggro dropping abilities like Lucid Dreaming. That, and being in preferably full party, will guarantee Gold.
Huh...I did not know that! Thank you! That does explain quite a bitMany people just don't know that regular FATE and hunts credit is based on aggro generated and not damage done (but its different in The Diadem FATEs). That means tanks should be in tank stance and spam their main aggro combo, summoners should use Titan-egi and dps and healers should not use aggro dropping abilities like Lucid Dreaming. That, and being in preferably full party, will guarantee Gold.
To take it a step further, if you're using a summon or a chocobo and they die mid-fight(or leave due to re-summoning, pulling out Bahamut-egi, etc), it wipes the contribution they were giving you.
I've done the fate 4 times... all relayed in hunt shells or FC and got rewards each time on my main and 3 alts. Full credit. Seems you need a bit more luck.
NOTHING!
So yeah... I'm done trying to make attempts at this. This is just poorly designed and frustrating as heck. I mean, pardon me for sounding entitled, but if you make the investment, you should get a little something for your time, should you not? Please, SE, fix this nonsense.
Complete Mikuzume's "Outfoxed" (31.1, 8.8) which can spawn every 2 hours. - this drops 1 stone on gold and it's very easy to get. Just farm this while you wait for the Fox Lady fate.. that's how I got my ears/minion without even doing the ranked fate.
The house I am tenant to has a ton of those stuffed foxes from this. Just be in a party and you should get gold easy
While I was catching up on post-HW content, I saw the FATE called out constantly.
Now that I'm actually in a position to do it, I've never seen it pop. :-(
Of course, all of the epic FATEs (save for Ixion, Odin, and Behemoth) are problematic due to the lack of participation, and they need to be revamped or re-evaluated entirely, but seeing this one fade so quickly is really obnoxious.
I've got headband and minion from exclusively solo Outfoxed...(9 fragments).
I don't even have a chance to fight or see fox lady...
Screw housing item,i'm not gonna do Kinko/Ginko then wait for Outfoxed never again.
I'm done.
This. The other problem is it appears only once every 12 hours. For people that have a full time job and/or family obligations, it's hard to get on when someone spawns it. Which could also be 2am for some. It either needs a consistent reset time, like say 5pm or some other prime time hour, or to reset more often. I'd prefer more often, personally. But that's just my opinion.
Everytime I spend my lunch break doing the requested FATE and everytime she pops while I have to go back to work -_-
People don't know how to take criticism anymore, and bad play is rewarded with with a coddling mentality. Yes, this is a casual game for the most part - that doesn't mean people need to walk on eggshells in fear of getting reported for pointing out things. This whole 'please don't say anything even slightly negative' mentality that we seem to be going towards and the devs seemingly pushing towards it is creating a disturbing trend.
