Sorry for the late reply but yeah... I was double pulling. 6-12 mobs. Me and the Samurai did all the AoE work. God were we resource starved. I did not see anything resembling Fire IV (and Blizzard IV) till the miniboss just before the last boss.

Ouch...yeah, sorry you had to deal with that :/

I'm not entirely sure how they got there, but as we were pulling the second boss they just showed up in the group. And were able to talk to us.

Yes, this was a DF group.

Did a Bardam's Mettle run last night on WHM for exp. Load in and take a peek at the tanks gear. He's level 66 and still wearing all Shisui gear. He decides that double pulls are an excellent idea in his gear despite the fact that adds in there hit like a freaking truck. I'm fighting with his health, blowing through every single cooldown I have to keep him alive and I actually manage to. He does this the entire dang run much to my dismay. I kept his squishy butt alive and squeezed out some DPS and got zero comms to show for it. Feels bad, man.

People forget those adds hurt lol, had a tank do big pulls with me on astro, healed them fine no deaths, next run different tank they try it as well but I can't keep them alive worth a single cent...lol.

I learned the hard way that the trash mobs in that dungeon hurt (combo of Shisui and Shire gear). First time doing it as WAR, I pull multiple mobs... and then notice my health is dropping pretty fast. No worries, CD's and heal potency buffs. That wasn't enough. Inner Beast spams. Still not enough. That pull wiped us and I felt silly and apologised. I did one pull per mob from then on... and then proceeded to buy level 66 gear gear for my tank ._.

Also Yol has a tank buster type of attack? What? Trying to give my poor inexperienced tank heart a heart attack?

Frankly I don't think people realise how hard stuff hits in there. Anytime I get it for lvlling roulette as a healer it's always a toss of the coin as to whether I get a tank oblivious to the huge amount of dmg they are taking or one who pulls a few mobs at the start a realises that stuff hits HARD.

Had something similar happen around a year ago. I was running Snowcloak, we were a light party of 4 people... but there were two more players at the start. Not listed in the party list, but they were there and we could communicate via party chat lol But since they were only 2 people in their own party, they couldn't go on and just left at some point. (They couldn't open the first gate for example as it remained closed for them)
I wish I still had the screenshots, it was the weirdest thing that ever occured in FF... It happened to me only once, though I've been reading some things about that bug on reddit.

Temple of the Fist - After the first big pull I realized the healer was new and wasn't used to healing yet so I pulled a bit lighter and waited for them to get mana back. However there was a bard in the group that was obviously geared and wanting me to pull a bit faster and more. He began pulling for me which we survived but I could tell the healer was struggling and I had to continuously blow my CDs to survive since I wasn't that geared yet. The last couple of pulls before the last boss can be intense for a new healer so I would make sure I had CDs as I pulled the three mobs plus the coeurl so I didn't die. The pull right before the last boss I pulled just the coeurl since I had no CDs left and the bard pulled the other three mobs so I did nothing and let them kill him as he began to rage saying "How didn't you get aggro after I pulled them?" so I just said. "I did it on purpose, don't pull for me." After that he shut up the rest of the dungeon. Hopefully he wont do it again.

Trying to level an alt and decided to sit though dps leveling roulette queue. It sorted me into Sirensong sea, which I initially thought was great since my alt is lv62. We ran down to the first group of enemies and whm immediately medica 2’d, ripped aggro, then switched between running away and spamming cure 2 as tank tried to wrangle the jellyfish monsters.

This continued for the next few mobs.

Tank eventually asked if they could stop with medicas but got no response. The only skills our healer seemed to have on their hotbar were cure 2, medica 2, and /cheer. Bot or bad?: a 2AM duty finder mystery.
