Man, on the 2 week of Stormblood after me and my friends hi 70, we decided to make the Duty Roulets(Leveling, 50/60 and Expert) with 2 PLD, 1 RDM(me) and 1 SAM. I was the "main Healer"(RDM heal is only on 52 and ress on 64 for those who don't know).
We done Halatali Normal, Snowcloak and Kugane Castle respectively and was really fun.
On the first two I was like "Hey man, just healed you(Erease), so... my next heal is in 1:30, so be carefull ;D".
For Kugane Castle, we only had problems with the 1 boss because I got stuck by 2 bombs and only one tank was standing, arround 20% HP left, and he managed to kill the boss. After that wasn't that hard.

Sorry for the late reply but yeah... I was double pulling. 6-12 mobs. Me and the Samurai did all the AoE work. God were we resource starved. I did not see anything resembling Fire IV (and Blizzard IV) till the miniboss just before the last boss.
It was 12.20 AM a couple of days ago when I queued for Susano for my msq. After a few smooth clears of Shisui and a dungeon guide I was feeling confident and ready to wrap up this fight in 30 mins max, as I had work in the morning.
Boy, was I wrong.
The group seemed solid enough and nice, we exchanged pleasantries ... and the other healer, a WHM as well, was disconnecting. No worries, we wait for him to come back and the tank pulls. The WHM eats the first aoe thrown his way. One of the dps gets the stack mark and runs to the opposite end of the arena, avoiding stacking like the plague. Next aoe cleaves through our party and sure enough, it's a wipe.
Round 2. We go through the mechanics, all players say they're ready, we're good to go. WHM proceeds on dying within the first 2-3 minutes of the fight. At this point, I'm thinking he might be lagging, swiftcast>raise. He proceeds on dying again shortly after. He said he accidentally pulled his internet cord. I'm all out swiftcast and thinking my mana might be better used elsewhere, like on the tank that melts with each tank buster forcing me to use mostly cure 2s. A RDM with more faith in humanity res-es him, WHM throws a medica 2 in the air and is hugging the earth shortly after. We wiped at the sword, which wasn't destroyed in time.
The next rounds pretty much followed the same pattern. I even had to use the healer lb3 button for the first time ever - twice! I didn't even have it on my hotbar. We finally disbanded when the 10 minutes remaining announcement appeared.
I queue again, and lo and behold I'm paired with the same healer as before. Never have I seen a WHM die so much and heal so little, except for throwing out medica 2s every now and then. He wouldn't even heal himself. Unfortunately for the others, I was unable to solo heal through the last phase, even when burning through all my CDs and ethers. The closest we got was 1 or 2% with me dying to the stack mechanic(as there was very little group left to stack with, namely just the tank) and the MT heroically soloing susano until he got killed by the stack mechanic as well. We disbanded after.
On the 3rd try, I finally got a different cohelear and we cleared with flying colors. Got myself 5 commendations. It was past 3 am. I cried myself to sleep.

Well, this was a silly roulette.
So I do Trials Roulette on my AST and end up in Ifrit HM, simple fight, co-heal WHM so I go Noct Sect and start the fight. Everything is going fine (Not surprising), except the WAR OT was standing in front of Ifrit taking all the cleaves. Since this was Ifrit, I didn't exactly worry about it, just an occasional Asp Benefic.
Then I see the chat.
OT: Healer afk?
Me: You are taking a lot of damage for being the OT.
OT: lol if u say so i've seen like 2 heals
Me: You aren't dead.
OT: Because i've been healing myself
MT: you shouldnt stand in front
MT: and turn off defiance
Me: So don't go BSing when we are doing our jobs.
OT: Oh well ****** heals
Right-o, then.

Y-day was the "test your RDM limits" day, in Bardam's mettle, apparently. Three out of five runs were healing-heavy, or healer-died heavy, so I finally had a reason to use verraise as well as vercure. One of those occassions the healer was new and died at the last boss, which was fine. We explained why they died, they were pretty sweet, thanked for the advice and we went our merry ways (cheers to you, whm! You did great).
The other one though... We had sch, drk, me as rdm and sam. First pull of two groups at once - wipe. I thought hell, no biggie, the mobs hit like trucks, it may caught the healer off guard or simply the dmg was too high to heal. At that point I haven't kept close eye on the healer. We continued, first boss wasn't that bad. Another trash pull, tank pulls one group, even marks enemies, wipe. Healer suddenly afk? Nothing in chat though. I couldn't really raise anybody since all the trash went after me when tank died and I didn't even notice the healer wasn't active all of sudden. Oh well, I'll give them benefit of doubt, maybe irl issues happened. So we respawn and the healer dies in between us already gone from there (not sure if she woke up and started pulling suddenly or something, she stopped quite far from the group as far as I noticed when we died). She stays dead for a while, we wait... and wait. Then she finally respawns when I ask if the healer is afk or something. She writes something like "sorry" and runs to us. No reason why she didn't do anything, or for the wipes so far. Okay, I guess... it can happen. From that point I help with healing too or the tank would drop.
Bardam boss - I saw her move from time to time, but mostly she just stood there and took the penalty from being hit. We were doing mechanics only with SAM, the tank usually ended up chained too (failed the towers because nobody stood in the third one as well). No biggie there though, we passed.
Last boss though. We wiped first time, because healer suddenly stood at the edge again, just occasionally moving, probably hoping the fairy would do all the work. My heals couldn't keep all three of us up, wipe.
Nobody said anything through the run and I kept my mouth shut too in the party chat, but my blood was boiling already. Second try of the boss - tank dies of a lack of heals, healer just stands around. SAM is tanking. Healer tries to heal a bit. I heal, raise the tank, heal him up. Tank dies again along with SAM who was trying to LB the boss, because the lack of heals while I frantically tries to heal everybody in turns, just to get low again with another unavoidable aoe. I raise SAM. Healer dies. I raise tank, heal him up. From all the healing I keep hate like a magnet. Can't say if tank tried to take him off me or not. I die at 3 % of the boss. By some miracle SAM manages to finish the boss off.
Chat goes: gg. I cry.

Good morning, everyone. ^^
I have been playing since launch, but very much off and on. Still working through the 2.XX MSQ line, and just did The Navel (Hard) for the first time. I was not the only newbie to the encounter, and not surprisingly, it didn't start off well lol.
We wiped several times, but were lucky to have a great tank who took the time to explain the mechanics. Someone voted to abandon, but it was rejected. I had done my research on the fight, and was doing ok (the bombs were tougher than I thought); however, we lost 3-4 people every run to LS, including one (or both) of the healers.
Long story short, we won (in the last run, 4/8 people survived, including myself). It was the most fun I've had in FF14 thus far. A big thanks to the tank who was nice enough to be patient (rare these days).
Lastly...I had the pleasure of being freed from gaol while being targeted by LS. At the exact instant I was freed, the LS timer completed. I lol'd. Good times.
