Wanna know a secret? I never put my damn fairy on obey becuase theres no way I'm dealing with the extra buttons on top of all the other stuff I have to manage. I dont have a gaming mouse or keyboard either theres only so many practical keybinds possible.

Until this game recieves significant and much needed ability pruning/merging, I'm not going to manually manage pets.

You need to play another healer, then, since letting the fairy run off AI will jank her up when you need to pop good cooldowns. I don't have issues micro-managing Eos's 3 (!) skills on top of my own while she's on obey at all once I started to actively try to (and 4.0 SCH needed the help). She Embrace's freely, I tell her when to do everything else. I'm a controller player.

It took a while to get there, but you need to actually manage her if you want to be proficient. If the pet is too cumbersome, and too many buttons is an issue, White Mage is right there.

I switched to AST and later WHM for precisely the same reasons, but leveled SCH first and foremost in Stormblood, and just rearranged my entire hotbar layout and viola, it made sense. I had room for the stuff I needed.

Whispering Dawn is MP free, 100 potency, and AoE.

No. I'm not leveling another class for quite some time, I've had enough of leveling to last me a while. If I can find room on my normal keyboard to make 3 more decently usable keybinds i may consider manual pet management, but right now I'm kept quite busy managing the way too many skills I have already.

Fair enough. That's your call.

I'd recommend looking up some other player's keybind's or macros to make everything easier.

If anything, having access to those skills will give you more DPS up time and less MP strain.

- Replace Silent Dusk with Physical Defense buff, basically the counterpart of Fey Covenant.
- Buff Selene's Embrace back to 300.
- I'd like to see Fey Wind come up a bit, but I don't feel strongly about it if those other two changes were to happen.
