Grit is ON the GCD.The only thing I'd still request for Paladin be changed is Swordoath, emphasis on SWORDoath ONLY, being changed into OGCD. Warriors and DRKs can flawlessly and without GCD loss switch from Tankstance into DPSstance and it would be great if the same would treatment would extent to Paladin.
Not saying it's absolutely necessary and Paladin is still better than WAR/DRK without that change, but it would be a nice change non-the-less.
Read again.
DRK's do not lose a GCD when switching FROM Tankstance TO Non-tankstance/DPS Stance as I laid it out in my original post.
I'm a strong advocate on disliking how overpowered Paladin is in comparison to DRK and WAR right now. I will continue complaining about the state of DRK and WAR until they are both equal to Paladin, just like I complained about PLD in Heavensward times when they were lackluster.
However, that still does not make Paladin flawless, and there are still some nonsensical and clunky elements to it, swordoath especially. Since this is a Paladin specific feedback thread, it's appropriate to touch upon these issues. It is of great importance to look at things from multiple perspectives.

I'm pretty annoyed that on controller, PLD needs 3 pages for skills minimum, whereas DRK and WAR can easily fit everything on 2 pages with some spots left open.
They didn't reduce or merge any actions on PLD, unlike WAR and DRK.
New Job Ideas
Fusilier (TANK) Purely physical; Weapon: Heavy Cannon
Necromancer (DPS) Melee pet job that builds up heavy magic attacks; Weapon: Scythe; Pet: Skeleton/Undead
Ranger (DPS) Ranged heavy DPS with minor utility; Weapon: Rifle
I would like to see our gauge be based on using our utility to block damage rather than how we generate it now and for it be used for using Holy Spirit so it adds more skill cap to the class. It would also help quiet down the "utility is useless/useful/waste of dps" debate since we would have to do it to be optimal.
Other things I would like to see:
- Sword Oath oGCD
- Hallowed kicks in quicker (not sure if this is just due to server tick rate)
- Passage of Arms kicks in quicker (not sure if I'm right about this, but it feels like sometimes I don't see arms up for a while after casting it)
- Total Eclipse increased enmity
And that is why PLD is still good, it did not lose 1/2 its skills this expansion.
They removed way too much stuff from DRK.
PC Master race.

Grit also costs 18% of DRK's MP instead of 8% on PLD, which also gains MP passively from regen and can replace the MP cost within the span two GCDs (and only spends MP in a very specific window). It also cancels BW, regardless of whether you just extended it with Delirium. Contrast this to Shield Oath, which does not cancel FoF and allows for FoF to be activated in either stance.
I would like Sword Oath to be oGCD, but only if they first remove the MP costs from both DRK and PLD's stances (at a bare minimum, although BW and BP need to be addressed as well). Grit and Shield Oath should stay on the GCD, however.
You lose half of one.
Turning Grit off is still on the GCD, it just doesn't trigger the GCD. This is probably one of the most poorly proliferated pieces of information regarding Grit in the entire meta.
Paladin gauge is fine. Using it to block AOEs or random autos gives you 2/3 of a Holy Spirit. If you combine that with other random MP sources you can easily replace 3 non-Fight or Flight GCDs with Holy Spirits in some fights and increase your DPS while still making it in time for the Requiescat window. You can also use it to fill up MP on bosses that force you out of Riot Blade range. It also lets you slip in Rage of Halone when you need enmity. Alternatively, you can use it defensively for blocking tank busters or Intervention. Probably the only thing I'd change would be to add a little bit more information to it - crackling lightning around it while you're above 80% MP or something.
