Confusion: Archer to Bard? Where is the Ranger Job?

First of all, I don't enjoy melee classes, and I don't enjoy mage dps. I want a ranged physical damage dealer and bard isnt it.

Jobs are not manditory. You are perfectly entitled to maintain the archer class as a ranged DPS. Once they add stat realotment back. You can scale down all that PIE and MND and add it to your str/dex and hopefully do go to town on some mobs.
