Dragoon Poll (Should DRG have a Wyvern?)

Yes - I know how polls work. If you think this is a scientific poll in the slightest way you're (again I say) delusional. It isn't a significant marker in the slightest way or all the fools who wanted Market Wards to stay as is would have had their way because the same "polling" was done. That poll "pointed" to wanting to keep the wards as is because it was (lol) immerse to the game environment.

Stop bloviating. These numbers are meaningless (just as they are in every "poll" taken here) in comparison to the whole.

what are you talking about 326 ppl have voted. unless the same person has voted over and over again making the outcome a like. then the poll has worked and we get an idea of what the community thinks. you might think these ppl are idiots coz they don't agree with your views. but that is not how a poll works all a poll is, is numbers and numbers do not lie

Once again, Dragons are best and mainly related to Demons and Sorcery while Dragoon is an ANTI-DRAGON job at best with the polearm having renown symbolism of killing dragons.

well and a beastmaster also can have a BEAST companion to his side because he tames them (he is focused in killing and taming beasts).. as well he is killing beasts.. the hunter in wow had his animal companion to his side and hunted animals as well...

Humans who ally with dogs and hunting animals.. well.. and why doesnt it makes sense that a dragoon allied with a small wyvern. a dragoon knows all about dragons. besides that small young wyvern wasnt that kind of big and cruel dragon? a dragoon understands how to kill a dragon, he knows all of his vulnerabilities... as well he could function as a "dragon whisperer" ... maybe he raised up a young wyvern on his own.. or tamed him.

what the heck... there could be many reasons why. so i dont think it makes no sense.

I dunno where people come up with the whole "Dragoon is a Anti-Dragoon class so having a pet goes against this" I have played every FF under the sun except 12 because my ps2 exploded prior to its release. I never recalled any dragoons actually hunting and slaying all Dragons.

Hell even in lore Dragoons were spiritually attuned with Dragons and fought alongside wyverns. They never had them in the actual games (until XI which was horribly implemented) but it is written in the lore this way. While it is true that they do have an advantage should they come accross Dragon opposition being that they know exactly how a Dragon ticks having worked alongside their kind using them as mounts and allies in battle.

Not all Dragons are good and those are the only Dragons a Dragoon would actively hunt down and slay.

Oh I didn't forget FFII, it's just people are mainly pushing for Freya, Cain or a Dragoon whom uses breath abilities itself

in FF14 dragoons come from ishgard. yoshi has already said the dragoons quest will speak about ishgard withouht taking you there. as they have big plans for ishgard in V2.0. we also know ishgard hates dragons. so purely going on the lore of this game alone it makes no sense for dragoons to have dragons

till 2.0. there is happening a lot in kind of story plot. the battle with all those dragons have been very long time ago. although dragons are hated in Ishgard ok, a dragoon wouldnt be that welcome there maybe.. wohoo.. i can live with that.. i love to be the "outsider" class and would it make it even more sympathetic!!

thaumaturgs are also very mistrusted and discussed in whole eorzea with their dark practices.

and i think there is a difference between a huge brutal battle dragon and a obviously friendly wyvern which was raised or tamed by a dragoon.

He said Dragoons will have abit of a tie in to the Dragoons of ishgard but they if you have seen them actually look more like the real life variation of Dragoon rather then the FF styled Dragoons. Most of them are mounted calvaray who instead of guns wield lances. Every single one of them has a chocobo by their sides. We are not going to Ishgard to become Dragoons, for all we know the unlock quest might have us stumble upon an ancient tome from many years past about this "Legendary Dragoon" of Ishgard who may have had a bond with a Dragon instead of "KIRR THEM ALL!"

Hell in XI(I know) the Dragoons had a bond with Dragoons and were killed off outta fear, same could have happened in IShgard by the higher ups and been covered up and altered because they feared the Man-Dragon bonds. This kinda story is cannon in the Dragoon lore since day 1.

Oh and yes I plan on picking up FF12, it tears me apart knowing it is the ONLY FF I havent played to this day. ; ;
