Is it a good idea to use Manafication in between the enchanted melee combo?

I would say DH is of higher value then crit, i have not done too many tests though.
My thoughts were for Red Mage, DH>Crit>Det
I haven't done much pve Red Mage, but in pvp it's so fun I'm hooked now hehe
Not sure if mentioned before. But I've seen where people say use verthunder/veraero pre pull. Why not use vercure prepull and then vertunder or veraero? Wouldn't that be a bigger dps gain that a hard cast verthunder pre pull?
No.. u miss the intention of prepull.
Casting pre pull mean u save those casting time before combat start.
in this case, ver thunder follow by ver aero is straight up 300+300 = 600 potency at the first 1 second of the fight while,
based on ur suggestion, u r dealing 300 potenty only. So ur suggestion is dealing doubly less than commonly accepted opener.
The key word is casting pre pull, dont even think about hard casting verthunder/veraero if tank do not honour the countdown timer and do a pull before countdown ends (before u cast anything)
To clarify what MelvinK said, the problem with what you suggest is that you'd be hit by the GCD after you do your dual cast ver spell. As the GCD starts when you press the button, if you hard-cast it pre pull then the GCD would be finished before the spell is even cast, allowing you to go straight into another spell
Hey guys so I was wonder what you guys think. I have my crit to about 1700, DH 1600, and spell speed to about 2.32 GCD speed. I have gotten comfortable with the faster GCD and overall the casting feels quicker. But should I really reconsider the SPS and put more into crit?
what is the usage case for Addle? I took it as one of my role skills, but I've literally never used it. when(and on what) am I supposed to use it?Those are the role skills i find best.
Think of swiftcast as a second form of acceleration. "Your next VerAero or Thunder is instant cast. There is a 50% chance to proc verfire or verstone ready." The less you have to cast jolt the more damage you do.
Swiftcast is also good for getting a quick 11 more mana to reach your combo or to help balance it out.
You may find it useful for knockback mechanics when dual cast isn't set up. Swiftcast->veraero/thunder->corps for example.
When two party members die at once, namely your healers, jolt II-> verraise->swift->Verraise.
And oh yes. Verraise is definitely affected by dual cast.
so I hit 70 today, and man..Verholy is one pretty spell. both the animation and the spell effect make Verflare look kinda plain by comparison.
