Not sure if mentioned before. But I've seen where people say use verthunder/veraero pre pull. Why not use vercure prepull and then vertunder or veraero? Wouldn't that be a bigger dps gain that a hard cast verthunder pre pull?

No.. u miss the intention of prepull.

Casting pre pull mean u save those casting time before combat start.

in this case, ver thunder follow by ver aero is straight up 300+300 = 600 potency at the first 1 second of the fight while,

based on ur suggestion, u r dealing 300 potenty only. So ur suggestion is dealing doubly less than commonly accepted opener.

The key word is casting pre pull, dont even think about hard casting verthunder/veraero if tank do not honour the countdown timer and do a pull before countdown ends (before u cast anything)

To clarify what MelvinK said, the problem with what you suggest is that you'd be hit by the GCD after you do your dual cast ver spell. As the GCD starts when you press the button, if you hard-cast it pre pull then the GCD would be finished before the spell is even cast, allowing you to go straight into another spell
