    Machinist was heavily ignored by the community in 3.0 until hypercharge was buffed from 5% to 10%. I'm sure it'll be buffed in 4.1 when YoshiP sees how few people are playing it in savage.

    Everyone says mch is in a terrible spot but when I run stuff I only lose in dps to samurai. I wonder if people have even tried the job or just echo what they've heard. /shrug. If it gets buffed more I won't complain.

    Well, when I run stuff, I can frequently outDPS the DPS as healer. It's not a very strong datapoint.

    I dont want to be offensive, but playing bard is certainly not 'easy'. It is definetly a 'piano' class where you smash various keys cause Bards are all over rng dependent.

    I dont deny your other facts and you are all right with them, but do not say bard is an easy ranged class. It always depends on the player itself, how he is playing and following rotations, adapting cds and buffs based on the fights (jumping bosses, immune bosses for certain period of time) and stat-weights.

    It's not a point in random groups.

    Yesterday i cleared O1S with random Raid Finder group in 2 hours with 1st place @3565 DPS.
    This is without DRG, NIN and BRD in my party to further increase my(and team) damage + no HQ Dex potion used. Should be an alright DPS without all those buffs, but no enough, still.


    DPS in my party was SAM, BLM and RDM. Or someone other than BLM, i forgot that one (not ninja, drg, brd tho)

    This does not mean that MCH is a good DPS, this means they we're either slacking or dying too much.

    MCH is in a bad place right now, both in DPS and team utility. In serious raid progression groups former 3.xx MCH's already switched to BRD for better progression.

    p.s. I also was unable to register in RF with my BRD friend, because BRD and MCH is considered "same" i guess.
