    I mean, for goodness sakes, SE had a moment when Ninja's found a rotation better than the one they had used for testing within a few days!
    There is a way this can be dealt with. Make the test server a large empty room about the size of New Gridania. Have players make a character, talk to an NPC that levels them to cap or whatever intended test level. Add treasure chests or an NPC that gives out job-specific max level gear for testing. Add a console that summons a boss to test the gear/gameplay against. No story is spoiled (though to me that's a dumb reason for not having test servers) and you can test all combat-related gameplay aspects.

    * The sad thing is that FFXIV turned RDM into a turret, and people think that's what it's supposed to be. It's supposed to combine sword and magic into something more, not spend the bulk of gameplay spamming spells and jump into melee for only 3 GCDs before scurrying back to the back line like good little casters.
    * Design ideas:
    Red Mage - COMPLETE (https://tinyurl.com/y6tsbnjh), Chemist - Second Pass (https://tinyurl.com/ssuog88), Thief - First Pass (https://tinyurl.com/vdjpkoa), Rune Fencer - First Pass (https://tinyurl.com/y3fomdp2)
