They can give you more DPS as a MT. For me, what would be cool is to increase the potency of Inner Beast and Steel Cyclone by 25% and remove the "ignores defiance penalty". This way, they'd still do the same damage as before on their own, but they would benefit from Unchained since their effect wouldn't overlap anymore.
