The system is fine as it is. DPS parser ain't gonna mean anything when you complete the duty. I'm sure of it.

That said, in a DPS perspective, whenever the damage ain't good enough, and got wiped or enraged, then it's a clear sign to continue training your class! Which in the end, is a lesson by itself without the need of anyone telling. You'll try to optimize, read guides, and ask friends and teammates too! I call elitism legitimate as long as it's proven and is meant as a bragging right and becoming the star of the moment to inspire and teach others to do the same, not a tool to belittle others. This is how I logically approach DPS parsing.

If you insist on using numbers as hard proof, then you can use the parser, but keep it personal.

How should guides be made without a parser?
Theorycrafting is nearly impossible without. It already takes hours, days, weeks, to work out those accurate rotations and optimal combinations of skills. Add at least the double time investment without a parser. It's unfair PS4 players can barely take part in it.

I am all up for an optional personal parser and maybe an optional group parser only for ex primals and savage raids. So when opening a PF for Omega savage you simplay say "parser used" and only people comfortable with this should join. Whoever doesn't want that can simply open up their own pf. That way players can decide what they want and still play as they please to without being forced. Pretty fair.

Like some mentioned those "skip soar" parties we had when Zurvan was new, I never understood what the problem with those parties was. You are either able to put out enough damage to help the party to skip the mechanic and join the party, or you don't and find another one or open up one yourself.
Same goes with the rants about PFs wanting a high ilvl. If you don't have the ilvl, why are you mad about the individual who is asking for that for their party? Just open you own PF. o.o I really don't see a problem there.
