    Can we change infuriate back please?

    Can we go back to allowing infuriate without having engaged a target please. I've already posted the bug and it was accepted as a bug but it still has not been fixed. I can't be the only one encountering this bug and its alot more common than I thought. I have a few pictures of it happening with different mobs, even ixion.

    If you do hunts on warrior sometimes infuriate will not be usable the duration of the fight for whatever reason. I can't remember specifically if it happened while leveling but I'm sure it did. It has not happened in a duty or raid yet so It must have something to do with field engaging.

    It's very annoying and I just don't understand why infuriate was made to only be used engaged anyway? Are raid groups really going to wait 2 minutes after every wipe for a war to get a 100 beast gauge before they go in? Probably not.

    Anyone can understand that it's because they don't want us to start every fight with 100 gauge.

    I guess its because they don't want Warriors to start raid fights with 150.

    The opener for every war would be to do their best to be the first person in, infuriate, hope for enough time to do again, and then once more during the FC opener. Not saying it's practical, but likely in their minds.

    There's no real reason for WAR to have Infuriate out of combat in dungeons/raids since Unchained costs 0 gauge now. It'd only give us a stronger opener, which we don't really need.

    That said, the hunt thing does need to be fixed. I can't see a sweeping change like allowing Infuriate out of combat again being the solution though.

    Honestly I think it has something to do with enemies having targets that are not in your party or alliance which they engaged first. This would explain why it happens in fates, hunts, and other peoples enemies that you are assisting only. It might happen with alliances but I haven't tested it in any of the 24man raids.

    They just have to change whatever code is used to flag "in combat" state. It's a common thing in many MMOs to get wrong, if based on agro lists.

    Ideally, you mix it up: You are in an enemy's agro bar OR have executed an action offensive action against a hostile target in the last 5 seconds, OR have been the target of an offensive action in the last 5 seconds. If any is true: you are "In Combat"

    Gave we give war a gauge with 1000 instead of 100
    can war have clemency and medica
    can war get regen
    can war get 100% counter rate
    can war have a shield
    can war cast fire 4
    can war get a boost on dmg

    /sarcasm

    feel like i see more "can war get/have" than anything else and war doesn't need anything
    the beast gauge penalty was there to help hold war in check on dmg, now you want to remove the infuriate in combat? Fixing the bug is one thing, but making a job overpowered in the process isn't a good idea

    Most the days, the forums aren't worth it. Just people crying that their favorite job isn't overpowered.

    You'd be surprised lol. Maybe not during progression, but people waited for double balance pulls when they aim for faster kill time, can't see why they wouldn't wait for 2 minutes.

    You are underestimating how serious and hardcore people are about being the #1 highest damage Warrior/raid party. Trust me on this - people will wait. At the very least, some Warriors will be asking for it.

    And if they ARE able to start off with a full beast gauge, it would be overpowered. Not completely broken the way some people might think, but it would definitely give Warriors an unfair advantage over the other tanks.

    The only way this change would be possible is if we made the beast gauge decay after a while. Maybe make it lose 50 points after 60 seconds? And I don't just mean out of combat, either.

    But this would mean each point of the beast gauge that you earn would have a lifespan of 60 seconds. Older points get spent first, so like if you used Infuriate, waited a little, used Upheaval, and then did a Storm's Path combo, you should have 60 left, and after some time you would only lose 30 because those other 30 came from the Storm's Path which is more recent.

    Or make the beast gauge fill up with a different type of rage, and make THAT expire after 60 seconds.

    But honestly I think this problem is just mildly annoying and not worth complaining about.
