Indeed. People wonder why the statistics show lots of people level tank but they are still massively short of what is needed in DF, the above comment explains why.

oh yeah, I have all my tanks at 60 and my pld will be at 70 soon. At some point,ill get drk and war to 70 too. And you know what? I wont really use them for roulettes.
And its not because of possible DF harassment...or else I wouldnt be maining healers lol. I just level every class, but I play what I enjoy most.

I personally know several players who will not take their leveled tanks into DF because they are fed up with a very vocal minority of players in DF. I know some healers who won't heal DF for the same reason. But in general, I think you are right that a lot of players have tanks and/or healers leveled, but don't use them in DF because it's not their preferred role. Of course, the reasons for their preference may have something to do with a vocal minority who make things more difficult for them, or they may simply find one of the various DPS jobs more enjoyable. Personally I like Bard and Samurai, I haven't done much with RDM at all, and I'm only starting out on SAM, but I like the structure of it's skills and combos, it flows nicely.

That said, I'm a tank by nature, it's who/what I am and play. I will always come back to Paladin as my main role/job.

and thats exactly the same way I feel about healers.

So the fact that I have my tanks lvled doesnt mean a thing. Im also not saying that there arent any people out there who dont use DF as a tank because they fear harassment.
But you make it sound like thats a huge majority and the sole or major reason why theres a shortage of tanks. That simply is not true.

Many players have leveled their jobs mostly through POTD and have little experience tanking in actual dungeons, it also explains why so many may also be undergeared.
