I feel like, and I got nothing to back this up, just a feeling, that Sadu IS indeed Magnai's moon lady. and she knows it already, based on the Dotharl's belief in reincarnation.

maybe one of her past lives was the Moon for a different Sun.

anyhow, she knows already, but Magnai doesn't.

According to one of the other Dotharl, Sadu's previous three past lives were all dudes.
