    It ok for dungeon as you don't need shirk. It's definitely the weakest CD in our toolkit but better than nothing.
    For 8 man content, it's pretty useless as shirk is way more valuable.
    In term of numbers, it's 6% physical mitigation while the effect is active (30% parry rate * 20% dmg reduced).

    I just finished my msq wanted to take my time with the story but ill start 8 man stuff this week , when u use shirk do you still need provoke as well are is shirk enough on its on

    Shirk transfers 20% of your own enmity to a target party member.
    It's mainly used to boost the MT enmity or in tank swap situation.
    You can use it as a mini provoke for the other person, e.g. the MT give 25% enmity to the OT which would make OT on top. it's not really the common use and certainly isn't a substitue to provoke but I've used it this way when let's say the MT gets raised, tries to provoke the boss back but stays behind in aggro because of weakness and you use shirk to put his on top and solidify his aggro.
