Why did they put Materia next to Repair?

Unless they surround repair with blanks, there's always going to be something next to it so someone will say "Why did they put X next to repair?!"

I once *discarded* something, through the confirmation box, when I was trying to repair it. It happens. I have to agree: Pay more attention.

This is a valid point I have overlooked.

Maybe putting the "Repair" on the top as first option would avoid that to a degree. Because above it, there will be nothing, then below it would be "Seek Repair."

But honestly, I think where the "Repair" option is now is fine. I totally agree with this:
