How Yoshi dodged questions that weren't asked of him, I fail to understand. He did not make the decisions of what he would be asked.

In fact, if you read Reinhart's translation, you'll see that Yoshi was actually slightly excited that it was a holiday and the rest of the team wasn't there, so he could give more spoilers than last time without being harassed.

And for the record I refuse to get into "questions that were not asked" debate. Our opinions vary greatly there. He could have selected questions pertaining to 1.2 since the details did say 1.19, 1.2 and beyond.

Its the fault of the people askign the questions. I mean... just look at the transcript. Yoshi addressed swimming when asked about jumping, and two questions later someone asks about swimming?

Then someone asked if there would be a free trial with 2.0...

If the dev team can't pick out interesting and sensible questions then why even bother ?

Dont' tell me there weren't some really awesome questions in there, ether they couldn't be bothered to sift through them all, or they just didn't care enough to give us any decent infomation.

Go back to your written letters Yoshi .. they were better.

None of which he spoke about this time .. at least in depth, we got a few second of the moogle opening scene and some info that it will be a group vs group battle.

There is a thread Here that is designed specifically to ask questions about the upcomming changes and they all pretty much got ignored in favour of tweets.

This is the reason why the live letter is a waste of time.

Some of those quests were answered FWIW.

Ah. Nice response. No one was crying as I've stated it was exactly what I expected it to be. I was merely agreeing with the OP that 1.2 topic was clearly dodged. But just a post ago you said all of that was in the live letter.

How does one determine what questions are "twitter questions" and what questions are from the forums, to make such a scientific analysis that the latter were ignored in favor of the former? I'd be very interested in hearing!
